Dr. Robert Brescia is Saint Joseph Academy's fourth President. He was appointed by the Board of Trustees in May of 2009 and officially assumed the role on July 1, 2009.

The President is the Chief Executive Officer of Saint Joseph Academy, and is appointed by the Board of Trustees.  The President works with the Board of Trustees and the School Directory to achieve the mission of Saint Joseph Academy as a Catholic school in the Marist Brothers’ tradition.  The President has final responsibility for the educational and religious programs of the school, long-range planning, as well as all aspects of the schools general operation, financial management, and institutional advancement.  The President has primary responsibility for articulating the mission of Saint Joseph Academy to the public.

Summer Hours (June 4-August 1): Monday-Friday by appointment only.

President’s Cabinet

Assisting the President in the overall direction and decision-making for the Academy are the members of the President's Cabinet. Cabinet members include: Mrs. Lucy A. Williams, Principal; Mrs. Marcia Martinez, Comptroller; and Mrs. Shelly Erwin, Director of Academy Advancement and Admissions. Others are invited as the needs of the agenda may indicate.

The President's Cabinet meets weekly. Agenda items for consideration may be sent to Felipa Gamez, Assistant to the President at fgamez@sja.us.
