Tuition assistance is based on a family’s financial need as determined by FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment and reviewed by a confidential financial assistance committee at Saint Joseph Academy. FACTS is an independent third party that oversees all aspects of the tuition assistance application and verification process. All tuition assistance monies are awarded by Saint Joseph Academy. Deliberations of the tuition assistance committee are confidential, and all decisions are final and binding.
Regrettably, Saint Joseph Academy is not able to meet the financial needs of all families who apply. All decisions are made on a year-to-year basis. There can be no assurance that a family receiving tuition assistance in one year will be offered tuition assistance at the same level in any subsequent year.
Applications can be submitted online beginning on January 1, 2017, and ending on February 28, 2017. It is very important for applications to be thoroughly completed and submitted with the required documentation to avoid delays in processing. Only one application per family is required.
Students are not required to be registered for the 2017-2018 school year to submit a FACTS application. Applications can be submitted online beginning on January 1, 2017. The final deadline for applying is February 28, 2017.
Saint Joseph Academy does not award academic scholarships. The Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools bans the awarding of athletic scholarships.
TUITION ASSISTANCE RESULTS
Applications which have been processed by FACTS are reviewed by the Saint Joseph Academy Financial Assistance Committee to determine tuition assistance awards. The Committee will then notify families of results in writing.
