The virtual-holographic images can be lifted from the screen and manipulated with the accompanying stylus.
Saint Joseph Academy is now the only school south of San Antonio utilizing a zSpace learning lab thanks to a generous gift from Margaret Hasse Cowen, SJA Class of 1978.
zSpace learning labs combine virtual reality and augmented reality to encourage engagement through exploration and experiential learning in a student-centered environment. The zSpace station is a large, camera enabled screen that connects to a PC. Stylus pens and 3d glasses make the screens come to life; frogs jump off the screen, planets orbit and hearts come to life.
Our zSpace learning lab is housed in the newly renovated STEM lab completed in Phase One of our Science Complex Project.
