The Saint Joseph Academy Bloodhound Ambassadors (BAs) are the student philanthropic arm of the Saint Joseph Academy Office of Academy Advancement and Alumni Affairs. This group is made up of students from all grade levels and are chosen through an application and an interview process. Some of the goals aimed to achieve as a group are to raise money to give back to the school, teach your peers about the importance of philanthropy and staying involved with the Academy after graduation. As a group, members will learn the different ways non-profits solicit funds and the importance of cultivating and stewarding donor relationships.
A Bloodhound Ambassador must have the ability to communicate his/her passion for SJA as well as be prepared to share details and comprehensive knowledge of the school’s mission, history, facilities and programs. As a Bloodhound Ambassador, students will interact with faculty, staff, donors, alumni and community/business leaders. Bloodhound Ambassadors will aid with campus tours, special events, public speaking events and participate in other support and fundraising activities.
Bloodhound Ambassadors promote SJA pride and showcase the quality and diversity of the student body. Students selected to represent SJA in this capacity will gain exposure to unique leadership, networking, and professional development opportunities.
Students are required to apply in order to be considered.
