Dance/Sweethearts

The goals and objectives of this team are to assist in providing overall school spirit and the development of self-pride through music and dance.  Students are expected to represent the community, the district, and the campus in a positive manner at all times upon being associated as a Sweetheart Dance team member.  The program focuses on an increased interest in expression through music, appreciation of various musical techniques, and an understanding of multiple dance settings.  Most importantly, students are taught the necessary skills of teamwork, cooperation, collaboration, social skills, responsibility, and respect for themselves, authority, and others.
