The main purpose of this society is to promote the Hispanic culture while simultaneously serving our community. We coordinate activities throughout the school year such as helping out local churches and organizing the Coat Drive by collecting donations of sweaters, jackets, scarves, mittens, and other winter clothing for the less fortunate in Brownsville and Matamoros. We also help cities suffering from natural disasters and other unfortunate events by collecting and sending them supplies such as clean water, diapers, and food products. The Spanish Honor Society is also willing to help the National Honor Society when they are in need of assistance for different activities of community service during the school year.

The club meets on Wednesdays in room 104.
