"When I arrived for my tour, I was immediately greeted into the beautiful campus with smiles and welcoming words. I got to meet some staff and students who were all so kind... at Saint Joe, it felt as if people cared about more than increasing their student population. They genuinely care about your well-being and making you feel included in the Bloodhound family; and of course, your faith."

We encourage prospective families to get to know St. Joe and experience our community firsthand. One of the best ways to do this is for students to participate in our shadow program, Be a Bloodhound for a Day. There are also a variety of events tailored to grammar school students throughout the year. The parents are welcome to our Open House and Back to School Night. Of course, students are always our guests at any of our games and activities.

Open House:

This is the perfect opportunity for prospective middle school and high school students and families to learn more about all that St. Joseph Academy has to offer! Parents and future Bloodhounds, please come visit us on: Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 5:30-7:30PM

Be a Bloodhound for a Day:

We invite interested students to shadow current students during the fall and spring semesters. To set up a shadow day, please call the Office of Admissions to set up a date. Send us an email requesting details at The student will be matched with a current student according to interests and will spend most of the day (8:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) with that student and attend classes with them. This is a great opportunity to see what it's like to be a student at St. Joseph Academy!

New Bloodhound Orientation and Family BBQ:

Get a chance to get to know your teachers, see your classroom, and take a tour of our stunning campus. Meet other students as you learn about school procedures and uniform regulations, school clubs and sports organizations. New Bloodhounds... please join us on: Thursday, August 8, 2019 10AM - 6PM.

Parents, join us at 4PM in the HS Library for a short orientation and then stay for the Family BBQ afterwards.

Back to School Kick-Off:

First day back to school can be a struggle when you've been away all summer... Saint Joseph Academy has a Back to School Kick-Off to get the ball going smoothly for the upcoming school year. We begin in Homeroom where students have the opportunity to reacquaint themselves with each other after not having seen each other all summer. For our new students, it's a good time to get adjusted to a new setting and to get to know new peers. Students follow their new schedules, meet their new teachers, review school policy and become familiar with any new changes, and we end the day with a spirit-filled assembly -ready to kick-off the new school year! Friday, August 9, 2019 8:10AM-12:30PM

Back to School Night:

Our annual Back to School Night is similar to our New Student Orientation, but for all our current students and parents. Clubs and athletics work the event trying to get some new faces involved in campus life. Senior students address the parents during the assembly, and parents later follow their students’ schedules for a sneak peek into what teachers will be covering during the year. Back to School Night will be on: Thursday, August 29, 2019 5:00PM-8:30PM

Campus Tours

Students enrolled in feeder schools have the opportunity to visit the campus with other bloodhounds from 9:00 am-12:30 pm. Visitors hear from our administrators and students, tour the campus, participate in classes, and join us for lunch. If your school is not scheduled to visit our campus, please email the Office of Admissions to sign up for a date to attend as a Bloodhound for a Day.
